Rain Bird 2 core Control Cable

Rain Bird control cable is a 2-core 2.5mm² cable. The cable has two inner cores of 2.5mm² solid bare copper wire which are individually insulated with a 0.7mm polyethylene heat shrunk plastic sleeve.  Over this is a blue sleeve of pliable polyethylene and finally the outer coating is a tough durable polyethylene.  The cable has a maximum current of 46Amps based on the ambient temperature of 20oc for buried cable.

The cable is supplied in 500m drums and is suitable for both the primary (mains) and secondary (lateral) wire paths.
